torment from her older brother and her parents, Mr & Mrs Wormwood, Matilda has never
really fit in at home. She loves reading and from the age of 5 she has walked herself to the
library every day and has read every book on the librarian’s shelf. Matilda finally has her Dad’s permission to attend school and she’s excited to make friends and
start her studies. Little does she know that the Headmistress Miss Trunchbull runs a tight ship. Some might say
too tight. She is rude & insulting to anyone who crosses her path and she despises children. Her primary mission in life seems to be inflicting terror on children and sweet school teacher
Miss Honey. Miss Trunchbull patrols the Crunchem Hall school corridors in search of Matilda to lock her up
in her torture chamber, otherwise known as 'The Chokey'. However, Trunchie is unaware that Matilda was born with magical powers that allow her to
control and move things with her mind. If she can figure out how to gain control of her powers, they will help her to rebel and stand up against the bullies. Humiliating pranks are played on the headmistress to make sure the she never sets foot in the
playground again!
Will Matilda be victorious or will Trunchbull’s terrible punishments prevail?"

The love she has been longing for is ALREADY INSIDE HER.She doesn't need a prince to validate her.
Now she can be free from the illusion that little girls all over the world have been told to believe …..that something or someone is here to ‘complete us’ or ‘fix us’ or make us better.
